History Event: this phase defined the beauty of the newfound technology by Satoshi which Finney received the first 50 BTC.

History Event: A bitcoin enthusiast known as “SmokeTooMuch” auctioned 10,000 BTC for $50 (cumulatively), but no buyer was found

History Event: On 22 May 2010, a man called Laszlo Hanyecz made the first real-world transaction by buying two pizzas in Jacksonville, Florida, for 10,000 BTC, an amount that would be nearly $188,848,000.00 in December 2020 if it was on a HODL (Holding on to your coin).

Bitcoin History Price: $750–$1,000

History Event: There was a price spike which led to $1,000 before settling between $800 and $900 as was in December 2013.

 

Bitcoin History Date: Feb 2014

Bitcoin History Price: $550–$750

History Event: After struggling to stabilize at $800, it went down to $750

Bitcoin History Price: $450–$700

History Event: there were further down moments in price as there was a false report regarding the Bitcoin ban in China plus uncertainty over whether the Chinese government would stop banks from working with digital currency exchanges.

History Event: with the speculations going round, the lowest price since 2012–2013 was seen at $530 max.

History Event: the price did fall to 30% in just a week, reaching a multi-month low of $750

 

Bitcoin History Date: 2-3 March 2017

Bitcoin History Price: $1,390+

History Event: Surprisingly, the price broke above the November 2013 high of $1,242 and continuing to trade above $1,290.

History Event: it was in May that the price reached a new high of $2,000 for the first time.

History Event: there was a bit of a spike between month May and June as the price almost reached $3,000 on 12 June, and subsequently oscillated around $2,500.

History Event: apart from going as high as $7,600-8,100, on another Bitcoin Exchange, BTC was said to be trading at $13,000+

While the cause of the spikes and Bull Run couldn’t be cemented, nonetheless, the spike was traced to Zimbabwean influence power tussle.

Bitcoin History Price: $17,900

History Event: another all-time high was reached with Bitcoin valued at $17,900/BTC.

 

Bitcoin History Date: 17 December 2017

Bitcoin History Price: $19,783.06

History Event: just 2 days after, another All-Time High was reached. As was recorded by Coindesk, the move above 19,783.06 was in line with the bull flag breakout.

 

Bitcoin History Date: 22 December 2017

Bitcoin History Price: $13,800

History Event: while Coindesk’s bull flag was a thing, however, just 5 days later, the price went down below dropping below $14,000.

 

Bitcoin History Date: 5 February 2018

Bitcoin History Price: $6,200

History Event: it dropped further and never looked back. February 2018 saw Bitcoin falling below $7,000.

As was recorded by CNBC, the downtrend was related to tension raised worries about increased regulation, hackers, and potential price manipulation at a major cryptocurrency exchange.

Bitcoin History Price: $6,300

History Event: there was a short-lived valuation at $100+ as Bitcoin celebrated its 10th Anniversary.

History Event: unlike the previous year, in December 2018, Bitcoin saw a 76% drop from a 15-month low.

History Event: between these months, Bitcoin was gasping for a bull run but unfortunately, the price movements mean another story with slow spikes between $3,300-$3899+

 

Bitcoin History Date: May 2019

Bitcoin History Price: $5,303-$8,200+

History Event: from the slow appreciation, BTC rose to $8,200.

History Event: July marked the ATM for Q1 which saw it rose to about $10,944.

Bitcoin History Price: $13,000

History Event: in October, Bitcoin stayed above $13,000.

Having doubted the efficacy of Bitcoin for years, J.P. Morgan came to terms to say that Bitcoin’s value could triple.

History Event: month November saw Bitcoin move above $18,000 to trade near all-time highs for the year.

It rallied along to rise to $19,850.11 on 30 November 2020.

According to Coindesk, sell Pressures was what Kept Bitcoin Below $20K.

According to the analysis, on the buy side, the new bitcoin investors may be “agnostic” regarding exactly where they are purchasing in the range between $15,000 and 20,000, according to Vishal Shah, founder of derivatives exchange Alpha5.
